Personal Story
I grew up in a small village in Bangladesh, where I quickly learned that hard work, determination, and education were the keys to building a meaningful future.
My parents were a major influence on my journey. My father, a dedicated teacher, spent his life helping students succeed, often teaching for free to support the community. My mother taught me resilience, patience, and the importance of perseverance—lessons that guided me through every challenge. Inspired by their example, I pursued studies across Bangladesh, Singapore, New Zealand, and Australia, completing my PhD through persistence and self-funding. My doctoral research also took me to UC San Diego, broadening my global perspective and commitment to education. I earned my Master of Business Administration Degree from Lincoln University California.
Today, I serve in higher education in the United States, including at San Francisco State University and San Francisco Bay University. Teaching allows me to mentor students, support their goals, and inspire others to pursue brighter futures. My journey reflects a lifelong belief in the transformative power of education and the importance of opening doors for others.
